
Back then, Kuro 5 was happily busy every single day,
and after the move, our hours extended until 5 a.m.
Even with few employees, members still active at Kuro 5 today,
alongside those who went independent,
young talent grew steadily, brilliantly filling the void left by Chida.
Around the same time, we often frequented “Isomaru Suisan” after work.
We worked hard, drank hard, got scolded often, and laughed a lot—
Kuro 5 back then was pure “youth” itself.

そして、黒5の新店舗も軌道に乗ってきた頃。
これまで黒5を支えてきた千田が、宇都宮で
「焼肉キッチンスタジアム10」を開業するため、黒5を巣立っていきました。
店名の「10」は、“黒5の倍にするから10だ!”という
彼らしい前向きな意味が込められています。
その店も宇都宮で超繁盛店となり、
開業からわずか3年で増築を果たすほどの人気に。
あのとき一緒に黒5を立ち上げていなければ、
今の黒5はなかったと心から思います。
今も変わらず仲が良い、可愛い弟のような存在です。

And seeing Chida like that inspired me to make a decision too.
Every day, so many customers came,
yet they couldn’t all fit inside the shop—
watching that scene,
and seeing the young staff growing, pushed me forward.
“Alright, let’s open a second location!”
“And why not make it right at Ikebukuro’s East Exit!”
Just three months after the move—
I resolved to open a second store at Ikebukuro’s East Exit.
The mysterious town of Ikebukuro.
“East is Seibu, West is Tobu”—a new challenge begins at that very East Exit.
